The Imperial Samui is an unusual hybrid: a Mediterranean-style resort offering Thai-style hospitality and comfort. Framed by tall coconut tres and unusual rock formations, the resort is set in landscaped gardens on ahillside over-looking beautiful Chaweng Noi Beach. Most of the guestrooms and suites face the sea, taking full advantage of the cool breezes that waft in from the Gulf of Thailand. The resort boasts two swimming pools; one set high on the hill, the other so close to the sea that, viewed from certain angles, it actually appears to merge with the sea. Apart from the resort's natural charm, it also offers a full range of water sports including sailing, windsurfing, diving, snorkeling and canoring.
