The Sofitel Raja Orchid is definitely a place to stay when in Khon Kaen. It is conveniently located close to plenty of night entertainment, shopping center and recreational centers. From the driveway the stunning high wooden ceiling welcomes the guest into a cool marbled interior surrounded by lush greenery. Throughout the hotel and in the rooms there is exquisite Thai silk furnishing blended with avant-garde art that exudes both atmosphere and luxury. The staff are well trained and friendly and make you feel right at home. You can experience a diversity of Asian and Western flavors from their 11 different inexpensive outlets. There's casual dining at the Sofitel's very own micro German brewery, sophisticated dining at the Italian restaurants and dancing or singing at the Wow underground disco and Studio Karaoke. Day trips and picnic baskets can be arranged when you visit temple ruins, Thai silk making or Khorat pottery. Or relax by the pool while the children play by the mini playground and baby pool. The hotel boasts an outstanding collection of awards for excellent service. With a full range of conference facilities, the hotel is ideal for business seminars and quick family weekend get aways.
