The magnificent swimming pools are flanked by an ornamental lake, formal lily pond and superb tropical gardens, with directly beyond, the beach lapped by the sparkling sea. Perfectly complementing the deluxe accommodation are five restaurants and four bars offering an excellent variety of dining and entertainment options. As the complete resort, the hotel also provides an extensive choice of sports and recreational amenties, including a comprehensive range of watersports, tennis and squash courts, fitness centre and horse riding track. Reviews
For a relaxing holiday the Dusit resort is a wonderful getaway. The resort is situated right on the beach and has a large swimming pool which cascades down towards the entrance to the beach. There are lovely trees along with a lake and a koi fish pond defining the perimeter. Overall the outdoor environment is one of beauty and calm.
The guest rooms are in a cement block building which doesn't have much ambience. I found the standard room to be rather small and the bathroom had several patches of pealing paint.
The Dusit is a fair trek from the main town of Hua Hin. There is a bus service for an additional fee. Everytime we used the service we had to wait for around 15 minutes later than the scheduled time to return to the resort from Hua Hin.
Overall I would recommend the resort as a place for people interested in relaxing by the pool, not those who want easy access to shoppping or entertainment venues.
