The Grand Ballroom holds 2,000 guests with a further seven function rooms in the Shangri-La Wing and an additional eight in the Krungthep Wing. All function rooms offer the latest audio-visual equipment and lighting accessories. Up to 1,500 people for cocktail receptions; or 1,600 delegates seated theatre-style. Twenty-three function rooms are also available for smaller gatherings. Excellent accomodations. Very good restaurants. Breakfast could use some upgrading. Staff is very courteous and helpful but needs to relax; always seem a little bit on edge as if afraid to make a mistake.
