Location
Imperial Tara Hotel located on Sukhumvit Soi 26, the hotel has excellent access to both Sukhumvit Road and Rama IV - two of Bangkok's main thoroughfares. It is therefore not far from the business offices on those roads. Moreover, its nearness to the Benjasiri Park and the new entertainment and shopping complexes makes it a popular place for leisure travellers.
The Sky Train (BTS), the newest mode of convenient transport is but 3 minutes away by a leisurely walk. This Train makes possible a trip in the shortest time to Ploenchit, Siam Square, Rajdamri, Silom, and parts of Sathon.

This park is very pleasant for an early morning or late afternoon stroll. Jogging is also popular along the path around the park for a distance of 800 meters. And walking across the park you can get to the skytrain which can take you quite far including the Chatuchack Market and the Mah Boon Krong.
Shopping Complex
This is near to the hotel. There you will be able to find most things you want from the up market stores - the variety of restaurants and the very modern cinema complex with the latest in Hollywood (and other) offerings.
